Unfortunately many candidates have had bad experiences with their current or prospective employer during the pandemic. It’s an unpredictable time but the amount of stories shared about poor management, recruitment processes going silent and a general lack of support is incredibly disheartening for the millions actively looking for work in the UK.
Through word of mouth, Glassdoor & Linked In, candidates are able to learn almost everything they would like about a potential employer – so there is no room for mistakes, even during a pandemic! Ensure you are promoting what candidates want to see to attract top talent.

Through further investigation we have learnt that all of the above are important to the candidate, but the thing that will make one employer stand out above the rest is an interesting offering. We live in a world of innovation and it’s amazing to see how businesses are using technology to offer unique products & services.
Gain interest from candidates by promoting what you do differently on all channels. From our survey we learned that Glassdoor is where the majority of candidates go to understand what a business is really like. Encourage employees to write reviews, this is a great way to promote your business and learn how you can improve based on employee feedback.
